Christmas party - Friday 7th December

Hi guys, this weeks activity will be our last one for the year!
We will be giving out the K.K presents, singing Christmas songs, playing some games and sharing some yummy food.

Kris Kringle - Friday 23rd November

Hi guys, yes it's that time of year again....Christmas!!!
This week we will organising K.k's.
If you want your children to participate please put their full name and age on some paper and we will draw them out on Friday. The limit for a present is between $2 - $5. On the last day of our activity, which will be on 7th December, we will have a Christmas lunch and hand out the presents. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

All Saints day - Friday 9th November

Hi guys, this weeks activity will be all saints day. Come dressed up as your favorite saint and tell us something special about your chosen saint.
There will games to play and some treats for the kids.

Legion of Mary- Friday 12th October

We will be having Lucy Sgro from the Junior Legion of Mary in Deer Park, come to talk to us about the Legion and pray the Rosary.

Seton Distributor visit

This week we are having the Australian distributor for Seton Homeschool visiting our group.

She will have a large variety of books to look at and purchase. She can also take orders on the day and have books posted to you.

This is a great opportunity to look before you buy. We hope you can come along!

Multi cultural day - Friday 17th August

Hi guys, this weeks activity will be multi cultural day.
Bring anything you would like to share about your culture, food, clothes, music etc.
We look forward to learning about the different cultures in our group.

String puppets - Friday 3rd August

Hi guys, one of our mums Therese will be running the activity this week.

The children will be making string puppets. If you have been saving toilet rolls and bottle caps, please bring them along to use in our craft. Thank you!

Biscuit decorating - Friday 20th July

Friday 22nd June - Show and Tell

This week we are having a fun Show and Tell session. Show us your favourite thing, a book you just read, some of your art or perhaps a physical or musical ability.

As it is the week of the Winter Solstice, we will also make some lovely paper snowflakes to decorate your windows at home.

The tea and coffee will be hot and the heaters will be on!

Hi everyone, his week will be running a May Crowning in honour of Our Blessed Mother who we celebrate during the month of May. Please bring rosary beads.

Friday 27th April - Anzacs and ball games

It's hard to believe we have flown into another term already!

This week, in honour of Anzac Day, we will be baking Anzac biscuits! We will also have some outdoor ball games, weather permitting.

Friday 23rd March 2018 - Tomorrow!

Hi Folks, 
In case you haven't heard, we have been able to book the hall for tomorrow so that we can go ahead with the previously cancelled Stations of the Cross and Easter egg hunt. Hope to see you all there!

Cancellation - this Friday 16th March 2018

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, the group activity for this week has been cancelled. We are trying to book the hall for next Friday instead, but can not confirm yet.

Stations of the Cross and Easter egg hunt - Friday 23rd March

Hi everyone,

Our final activity for this term will be the Stations of the Cross. We will also be having an Easter egg hunt. Don't forget to bring your Easter baskets along that we made last activity. 
If you missed out on making one, there will be some extra baskets for the children to use.

Make your own Easter basket - Friday 2nd March

This week, we will be making Easter baskets. A template will be provided for the children to colour and decorate. This basket will be used for our next activity, Easter egg hunt!

Once again, please keep food simple in the season of Lent.

Act of Love chains - Friday 16th February

This week, in honour of Saint Valentine, we will be making "Act of Love" chains. This craft is a great way to start Lent, as it will give each child an opportunity to think and write about how they intend to serve others.

Please keep Lent in mind when planning your plate of food to share, plain and simple is a great place to start.

Pancake Day, Friday 2nd February

We hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are looking forward to getting stuck into a brand new year of homeschooling!

With Lent fast approaching, we thought it would be fun to have our own Pancake Day!

Please bring your own batter and toppings, as well as plates and utensils - cooking implements will be available to share on the day.
